What the guide covers
This guide discusses wall design for rooms that are planned around good manufacturing practice principles. It covers the wall topics that such planning touches: room separation, joint tightness, cleanable surfaces, service penetrations and maintenance access. It is a design guide, written to help a project team ask better questions at enquiry stage.
The wall topics are the same as elsewhere on this site: panel construction, joint, surface and room-by-room confirmation. A room planned around manufacturing practice principles still needs those four decisions made explicitly, room by room, rather than assumed from a panel name.
What the guide does not claim
This guide does not claim that any panel, wall or product complies with good manufacturing practice requirements, and it does not present itself as a compliance document. Compliance for a specific project is a matter for that project's specification and its own verification process, not for a wall-system guide page.
If your project specification names a document or a requirement, raise it at enquiry stage and ask for it to be confirmed for your exact order. Certificates are available upon request. Send the room list with the enquiry, and confirm panel, joint and surface room by room before ordering.
Send your wall layout and room list — confirm panel type, joint and colour for each ward, production or laboratory zone before you order.
Send a wall-system enquiryPlease confirm minimum order quantity and lead time before ordering.
