The system framework
A wall system is more than a set of panels. It is the face panel, the edge runner, the core layer and the joint, working together so a room can be cleaned, maintained and changed without rebuilding the wall.
This page is the system home for the site. The supporting phrases clean room panels and clean room wall systems are used here as part of the same framework; neither has a separate page. If you arrive from a search for either phrase, this page is the intended destination, and the panel and application pages branch from it.
A wall system has four decisions, in this order: room, construction, joint and surface. Room decides the cleaning and use requirements. Construction — handmade runner-edged or machine-made jointed — decides how services and later changes are handled. Joint decides how tight and how maintainable the wall run is. Surface decides colour, cleanability and finish. Reversing that order, for example by choosing a colour before a construction, is the most common source of a wall that looks right and works poorly.
How the site is organised
Wall Systems pages compare constructions and procurement. Applications pages carry the same system into hospital, pharmaceutical, laboratory and operating-room rooms. Panels & Selection pages cover individual panel types, nodes, surfaces, joints, installation and maintenance. Cases show how the system has been applied to named projects. The blog carries the same topics as guides — design, classification and maintenance — without making compliance claims for any product.
Certification is handled the same way throughout the site: certificates are available upon request. No certificate number or issuing body is published, and no page claims a product complies with a named standard. Guides that discuss named frameworks do so as guides only.
