Classification as a planning topic
Cleanroom classification describes how clean a room must be, and that requirement shapes wall choices: joint tightness, surface cleanability, service penetrations and maintenance access all matter more as cleanliness requirements rise. This guide explains that relationship so a project team can discuss wall options in classification terms at enquiry stage.
The practical wall questions are unchanged: which rooms need which construction, which joints must be tightest, which surfaces must be easiest to clean, and which panels must be removable for service access. Classification thinking helps prioritise those questions, but it does not answer them by itself — the room list still does that.
What this guide does not claim
This guide does not assign a classification to any panel, wall or product, and it does not claim that any product meets any classification grade. Classification of a finished room is verified for that room, not read from a panel page.
If your project names a classification requirement, state it in the enquiry with the room list, and ask for the wall system to be confirmed for those rooms. Certificates are available upon request, and any document you need should be confirmed for your exact order.
Send your wall layout and room list — confirm panel type, joint and colour for each ward, production or laboratory zone before you order.
