Cladding as the working surface
Cladding is the face of the wall that the room actually uses: the surface that is cleaned, touched and inspected every day. A cladding choice is therefore a cleaning and maintenance choice first and a colour choice second. The face panel, its finish and its joint determine whether a wall stays cleanable over years of use or becomes difficult to maintain at the joints.
Steel panel colours are customised against an international colour card. Regular colours include white-grey, snow white, stainless matte and brushed finishes, light blue, light green, ivory white, sea blue and pink, with some variation by product page. For cladding, confirm the colour and finish together with the joint, because the joint is where cleaning usually fails first.
Cladding for different rooms
Hospital corridors and wards need cladding that tolerates frequent cleaning and trolley contact. Pharmaceutical production rooms need cladding with tight, cleanable joints. Laboratories need cladding that can be changed when room use changes. The surface and colour selection page works through those room differences, and the antibacterial and easy-clean selection page covers surfaces chosen specifically for hygiene-sensitive rooms.
This page does not publish material specification figures for the layers behind the cladding. If a figure behind the face matters for your room, ask for it to be confirmed for the exact panel ordered.
Send your wall layout and room list — confirm panel type, joint and colour for each ward, production or laboratory zone before you order.
